In its simplest form, the sailing club would consist of a patch of land on the water’s edge, with easy access to the water, either by means of a slipway and a wooden mooring dock.
The land would be divided into lots where each person would keep their boat and launching dolly, with a separate section (or rack system) for storing kayaks, windsurfers, paddle boards, etc.
Future improvements to the club could include secure storage, showers, a clubhouse, and a safety boat, but this would all depend on what the members decide on.
I’ve included some photos from a few UK sailing clubs to give you an idea of how the club could look.
